This collection of original vintage posters was started by Russell Davee, my grandfather. He was an artist and loved graphic design, art and commercial displays. His passion for travel art evolved as he developed the vision for El Camino Travel in San Clemente, CA.
These posters came from his collection and were stored flat since they day they arrived at the agency. Many of them were used in his elaborate window displays and show fading, alteration and tears. I have rescued many others that never saw the light of day but have still suffered some trauma due to handling. Those are the ones you see here.
